An alleged family dispute involving YSRCP senior leader Jogi Ramesh has turned political after former Andhra Pradesh minister Jogi Ramesh stepped up his defence of his family over a marital dispute involving his son Rajeev and daughter-in-law Meghana, alleging the issue is being turned into A political campaign against him.

Ramesh, in his defence, said the family had tried to reconcile Rajeev and Meghana after differences emerged following their marriage. He said Rajeev subsequently filed for divorce and insisted that Meghana continued to be regarded as “like a daughter” by him.
He alleged that he and his family had been targeted since the TDP-led government returned to power, but maintained that he was prepared to face the political consequences. “Jogi Ramesh will never do anything wrong.
I am ready to face anything politically,” he said, arguing that political battles should be fought on political issues rather than through family disputes.
