There is an 85 per cent chance of precipitation at 6 AM, and it stays at 75 per cent at 9 AM, 45 minutes before the rescheduled start of the game.
India are in a position of ascendancy in the game. Manav Suthar and Prasidh Krishna have turned out to be the stars for the visitors with their three-wicket hauls each, while Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja have struck once each. After scoring a mammoth 503/9d, the visitors have pegged the hosts down to 265/8 in the first innings.
