A 25-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by his friend following a dispute at Dhobi Ghat near LNJP Hospital in central Delhi, police said on Tuesday.
“Teams received information from LNJP Hospital on September 1, where the injured man, Shivam Mathur, was brought with multiple stab injuries,” a senior police officer said.
Gautam, who was present at the spot, witnessed the incident and took the injured Mathur to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Following the incident, a police team was rushed to the hospital and Gautam’s eyewitness account helped identify Chauhan as the alleged assailant, following which he was apprehended. The accused, identified as Shivam Chauhan (23), has been arrested in connection with the murder. The incident took place around 11:40 pm on Monday.
