The collapse of the multi-story student-paying guest accommodation that led to the deaths of seven people has prompted many police investigations and municipal safety operations across the national capital city. The police and municipal authorities have hastened the proceedings against the property owners and architectural alterations of structures. Demolishing of adjoining building : Municipal engineers identified the standing building near the accident as a high-risk factor, which will be demolished.
Hospital inspection and condition of affected people
Casualties of the disaster : The collapse incident led to the deaths of seven people, out of which two were local laborers while twelve others were injured in the structure failure. Hospitalisation and release of victims : Two children who have recovered from injuries will be discharged, while the third one will continue to receive treatment in the intensive care unit. Financial assistance : The Delhi government has assured to provide financial assistance to the families of the dead children and injured labourers.
