Bihar Minister Shrawon Kumar has characterized the recent molestation incident involving students in Jamui as one of the many “occasional incidents” that occur in the state. He acknowledged the persistent issue of crime but emphasized that it cannot be entirely eliminated. Kumar assured the public that the government is committed to conducting a comprehensive investigation and will take stringent action against those found responsible for the incident.

Responding to the Rashtriya Janata Dal’s (RJD) description of the Jamui incident as a sign of ‘Jungle Raj’, Kumar said such an incident could not be denied and acknowledged that it was distressing. Government Promises Security and Investigation for Victim’s Family
In response to recent events, a government official has pledged to ensure the safety of the victim’s family. He confirmed that he would communicate with the district magistrate (DM) and the superintendent of police (SP) regarding the situation.
The official stated, “The government will conduct a thorough investigation into this. Strict action will be taken against the culprits. After leaving from here, I will speak to the DM and SP. The victim’s family will be provided with all kinds of security.” This commitment highlights the government’s intention to address the concerns of the family and uphold justice in the case.
