Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal may receive isolated to scattered showers, with heavy rain possible in some areas. Northeast India : Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are likely to receive fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, with isolated heavy rain possible. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya may see scattered showers, while thunderstorms and lightning are also expected in parts of the region.

Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds of up to 40-50 kmph, with gusts reaching 60 kmph, are also likely.
