A 31-year-old MSc Physics student died on Saturday morning inside the IIT Delhi campus.
He jumped from the sixth floor of the lecture hall, according to police.
The Kishangarh police station received information about the incident through the police control room at 8:33 am. A police team arrived at the scene and took the student to the campus hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

They have not recovered any suicide note from the scene. Police have also obtained the student’s counselling records and other important information from the IIT administration.
