As political parties gear up for assembly elections in Goa, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Manipur early next year, allegations of “vote theft” against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have gained momentum. Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, criticized the BJP on social media platform X, claiming that the party ignores the will of the people and operates on the basis of electoral fraud.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge echoed these concerns, stating that party workers in Telangana and Karnataka are facing similar administrative challenges. He emphasized that citizens across the country are uniting against these alleged manipulations, asserting that the BJP’s actions represent a conspiracy against democracy. Kharge warned that those responsible for undermining democratic processes will eventually be held accountable.
