Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta offered prayers at the ISKCON Temple on Friday on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. Gupta sought Lord Krishna’s blessings for the people of Delhi and wished everyone happiness, peace, prosperity and well-being.

CM Gupta extended her greetings and best wishes to the people of Delhi and citizens across the country. She prayed that Lord Krishna’s blessings bring happiness, peace, prosperity and well-being to everyone. BJP National President Nitin Nabin also offered prayers at the ISKCON Temple in East of Kailash, Delhi. He took part in the rituals and paid obeisance to Lord Krishna. The BJP president also shared a message on X, urging citizens to follow the path of righteousness and duty shown by Lord Krishna.

She said Janmashtami is not only a celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna but also a festival of devotion, joy and spiritual bliss. CM Gupta said Lord Krishna’s life and teachings continue to inspire people to follow the path of truth, righteousness, duty and compassion.

BJP Leaders Join Nabin for Temple Visit

Nabin visited a temple accompanied by several leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), including Delhi BJP President and Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra, Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh, and Lok Sabha MP Bansuri Swaraj. After completing his prayers, Nabin expressed his reverence for Lord Krishna, highlighting the deity’s significance in representing India’s Sanatan traditions and culture.
