IOA CEO Raghuram Iyer said that the BCCI would have to take full responsibility for the players, including their food and ensuring that they reach the venue on time, according to a report in The Times of India (TOI) .
The report added that the BCCI will send an advance team next week to inspect the facilities in Aichi-Nagoya before taking a final call.
The Asian Games organisers have already provided accommodation for both the men’s and women’s cricket teams. “BCCI is taking care of its athletes, and sending an advance team is the right way to assess the facilities before making a decision.
