Kisha sustained severe injuries in the accident, as the car was being driven at a high speed. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared her dead upon arrival. The accused driver has been identified as Gaurav Malviya, a resident of Manewada. Based on it, the Hudkeshwar Police had a case against the accused driver under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act.
Cops said he later surrendered to the police.
The girl’s father had earlier filed a complaint.
