An unfortunate incident of airplane crash occurred on Thursday in the Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh when a twin-engine four-seater training aircraft met with a fatal accident and crashed in an open field in the agricultural land. There were two occupants in the plane who were instantly killed in this crash.
Raghuveer Lal, Kanpur Police Commissioner, has officially confirmed the death of both persons who were on board. The aircraft belonged to the Garg Aviation Training Center, which was used for carrying out instruction flights until the fatal incident.
Immediate response and investigation by DGCA
Investigation : It has been reported that an inquiry will be conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The police authorities of the place cordoned off the whole crash site to safeguard the evidence and the wreckage from being interfered with by the federal aviation officials.
