Shock waves have been reported to have hit the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur, due to the unfortunate demise of a first-year postgraduate resident doctor at their facility. The identified victim is reported to be 31-year-old Dr.
Raj Naresh Yadav from Alwar and was said to end his life using an injection during OT duty.
The whole incident took place in the afternoon during OT duty shift. The search : After realizing the prolonged absence of the doctor from the department and failing to receive any response from his phone, other medical personnel began searching the OT complex. Breaking the door : They found the door of the break room’s bathroom locked from the inside without any response from the other side, and hence they broke it open only to find Dr. Yadav unconscious. Failing to revive him: Upon finding the patient unresponsive, fellow doctors immediately provided CPR and transported him for medical assistance; however, despite all efforts, he died there itself.

Possible injection : Basni Station House Officer Nitin Dave observed that the initial investigation indicates that an overdose of injection was taken by the individual himself, and the type of the injection will be known after the post-mortem report. Background information: The doctor had completed his MBBS at AIIMS Jodhpur and then took some time off from studies and returned back after about four to five years to get an anesthesiology PG seat.
