Ravi Shankar Prasad, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), criticized the Congress party on Friday, claiming that it has devolved into a faction characterized by “anarchy” under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. Prasad accused Congress of engaging in competitive politics, suggesting that this behavior is an attempt to distract the public from the ongoing Vande Mataram controversy.

Earlier in the day, Congress leaders and party workers gathered outside the Parliament Street Police Station as Rahul Gandhi staged a sit-in along with Sahil Lochab, who has alleged that he was injured by pellet gunfire during the July 20 protest.
