you can run, but you can't hide, Pakistani LeT cadre Yasir neutralized in operation Ashdar — No

Security forces have confirmed the identity of a terrorist killed during Operation Ashdar in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The individual has been identified as Yasir, a Pakistani national linked to the militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). This operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat terrorism in the region.

It was launched based on specific intelligence inputs regarding the movement of a suspected terrorist group from the Pakherpora area of Pulwama toward Yousmarg in Budgam. The army confirmed yesterday that one terrorist was neutralized at the scene, and an AK-series rifle alongside other war-like stores were recovered from the site. Today, the Jammu and Kashmir Police officially identified the deceased terrorist on their X handle, posting his photograph along with the statement:

During the search, troops spotted suspicious movement. When challenged, the terrorists opened fire, triggering a fierce gunfight. The joint cordon-and-search operation, conducted by the Indian Army (Chinar Corps), Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF—began on Thursday, September 3, 2026, and continued into Friday.
